Display and Design
Both Redmi Note 8 and
Redmi Note 8 Pro sports water-drop notch on the top. Redmi note 8 has 6.3
inches Full-HD+ Display, whereas Note 8 Pro has 6.53 inches Full-HD+ display. For
the protection, both phones have Corning Gorilla Protection on both sides.
Comparing to the screen-to-body ratio, Redmi Note 8 has a ~81.7% screen-to-body ratio, and Redmi Note 8 Pro has a ~84.9% screen-to-body ratio. Redmi Note 8 Pro gets a slightly higher screen-to-body ratio because it has smaller chin on the bottom, whereas Redmi Note 8 has somewhat more prominent and has Redmi Branding on the bottom bezel.
Both phones have
vertical cameras placement on the back. Both phones have four rear cameras.
Redmi Note 8 has 48 MP primary camera, whereas Redmi Note 8 Pro has 64 MP

has 20 MP camera.
Performance
Both phones come with a
powerful processor. The Redmi Note 8 has Snapdragon 665 Octa-Core processor
based on 11nm technology. Out of the eight core, 4 are clocked at 2.0 GHz and
another 4 are at 1.8 GHz.
Redmi Note 8 Pro is
powered by Mediatek Helio G90T (12nm). The handset appeared on AnTuTu with an
overall score of 282,443 points. This result makes this comparison with the
phone with Snapdragon 845 Processor. If you love playing PUBG and other
high-end games, then Redmi Note 8 Pro won’t make you feel regret.
Storage
The Redmi Note 8 comes with 64GB + 4GB RAM variant and Redmi Note 8 Pro with 128GB + 8GB RAM. Other than that, both phones comes with same variant options, 64GB + 6GB RAM, 128GB + 6GB RAM variants. And both phone can be upgradable up to 256 GB with the help of microSD card.

On the other hand, price for the Redmi Note 8 Pro for 6GB RAM + 64GB storage costs 1399 Yuan (around Rs 22,316), 6GB + 128GB that costs 1599 Yuan (around Rs 25,506) and 8GB RAM + 128GB costs 1799 Yuan (around Rs 28,696).
Well, the above-mentioned price details are the prices in China, and we wouldn’t get the phones in the same price segment in Nepal. We need to add some extra thousands on each of the variants in Nepal. It is expected the Redmi Note 8 series to launch in Nepal up to November of this year.
