Vianet Data Breach: First Foodmandu and now Vianet felt a sudden bang after the data breach. Vianet is one of the most popular ISP in Nepal with millions of users who did trust in the security provided by Vianet. However, in a matter of just some seconds, their data was leaked.
A twitter account with the user name ‘ नरपिचास ‘ tweeted a link which includes leaked data that has user’s email address, phone number, and address. We need to mention that the link shared in the tweet is an onion link which requires a special browser known as Tor. Currently, the twitter account is restricted due to this you won’t find the link. Here is a screenshot of the post.
All the officials from Vianet are working on this problem and promised to take necessary steps after the investigation is over.
